Lykoi
Lykoi opens Archicad library parts right on your Mac. Archicad doesn't need to be running.
What it does
Lykoi shows everything a library part contains.
Lykoi opens a GSM file just as it sits in the folder: scripts, parameters and subtype side by side. You change them and save without starting Archicad.
The editor knows GDL. It colours commands, suggests what comes next, folds blocks and goes to the matching bracket. A library part is saved completely or not at all, never half written.
When a library part has to run in an older Archicad version, Lykoi writes it for that version, back to Archicad 24. A folder or a library container becomes a library package, and Lykoi opens protected library parts with their password.
- Changing a library part doesn't need Archicad to be running
- A library part is saved completely or not at all, never half written
- Anyone still working in an older Archicad version gets the library part in their version
- Your library parts stay on your computer
What it gives you
- Offices that maintain their own library
- Anyone who writes or adapts library parts in GDL
- Anyone who works on scripts with an AI
Who it is for
With an AI
Lykoi and your AI tool
A server runs inside Lykoi, only on your computer. Your AI tool connects to it once, under Script › Work with an AI.
The AI asks Lykoi about GDL: what a command is called, what it needs and how a library part is built. Lykoi checks the code it writes for errors. The AI gives you the code as text.
Without a licence
The AI also reads and writes the library parts that are open in Lykoi. What it changes lands in the editor, not in the file without asking.
With a licence from your office
Whatever you give an AI to read goes to its provider, not to bimover. Lykoi itself only sends bimover the sign-in and the licence check. Lykoi privacy

In the office
What Lykoi needs
A Mac with Apple silicon, macOS 14 or later. Lykoi speaks German, English, French and Italian.
Where it runs
Without signing in, you open, change and write library parts as usual, and Lykoi sends bimover nothing. You sign in with Apple or Microsoft to your bimover account; you only need that for the licence.

Licences belong to the office. Whoever runs the office assigns them to the people who work there. Only with a licence does the AI read and write library parts. The app itself is free. For licences, the office writes to us.
